Q&A For 50 Followers! // Results!

Hey there everyone! Today’s post has been in the works for a little over a month now, and I am beyond excited that it’s finally here. 🙂

It’s time for my Q&A results!

Back in August, I posted about the Q&A I’m hosting. I got a bunch of comments back with questions for me, and today you all are going to get to read my answers. I can’t wait!

q&a

Thanks so much to everyone who gave me questions!❤️I really appreciate each and every one of them. I’ll be answering them (all of them!) in three categories: books, blog, and random.

Book Questions + Answers

1. Which fantasy world would you want to live in the most?

Is this even a question?? 😉 Let’s say it together. 1, 2, 3:

The wizarding world, hands down.

2. What is your favorite genre to read in?

I’d have to say realistic fiction. It’s what I always turn to when I’m in a reading slump or just don’t have anything else to read.

3. What was your favorite book as a child?

I always loved The Boxcar Children series. I read every single one they had in the public library, which was a ton. Though I always wondered why the Alden children never got any older.

4. What is your least favorite book?

I don’t really have one? It’s strange, but I am very kind to books. I either like them or DNF them. I don’t count DNF’s as books I disliked, since I didn’t technically give them a fair chance.

5. Is there a movie adaptation you like more than the books?

Not that I’ve seen. But I’m sure they exist! 😉

Since we’re talking about movie adaptations, I thought this gif would be appropriate. XD The Book Thief adaptation is one of my all-time favorites!

Favorite series and how you found it?

I think everyone probably knows by now that it’s Harry Potter. 😉 I found it because my dad and sister were both huge fans and introduced me, but I’m sure I would have gotten around to it sooner or later anyway.

A hyped book you didn’t enjoy?

The Maze Runner. Nuff said.

Blog Questions + Answers

6. What’s your favorite of your blog posts?

What a fun question! Off to read my own blog and pick out a few favorites. 😉

*980348 minutes later because I got distracted and then read like every single one of my own blog posts*

7. What was the first blog you discovered?

The first blog I ever read (way back in 2014) was Heather Vogel Frederick’s. I was a very faithful reader, and still am, even though she doesn’t post much anymore. (HVF is the author of the Mother-Daughter Book Club, if you didn’t know.)

8. What made you want to have a blog?

So many reasons! Mostly because I just wanted a place to share my thoughts. But it’s turned into such a learning experience and positive influence in my life. 🙂

An evolution of my two blogs…

Random Questions + Answers

9. Who is your favorite superhero?

Spiderman. Cause he’s cool. Also cause I don’t know that many superheroes but everyone knows who Spiderman is.

10. Sneakers or flip-flops?

I’m sort of in between on this one. My favorite shoes are these Chacos, which are like a mixture of both!

11. Who is your biggest source of inspiration and why?

This may sound strange, but Jesus. It’s amazing all the trials he went through while here on Earth, yet never strayed from his mission- to willingly die for us to live. I’ll never, ever stop being in awe of that.❤️

12. If you could have a coffee date with any celebrity (dead or alive), who would you go with?

This is a really great question. I’d have to say Taylor Swift, because I’ve been 113% Swiftie for as long as I can remember. It would be so cool to meet her!

Yep, she is.

13. What is your biggest pet peeve?

I have a lot of pet peeves. 😉 One of my silliest is also one of the biggest- it’s when a teacher leaves one teeny tiny mark of dry-erase marker on the whiteboard and I’m just dying inside. Am I the only one who feels this way?!?

14. What’s your favorite food?

That’s almost like asking me to pick a favorite book. 😉 I’d have to say either hamburgers or lasagna.

15. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I’d love to be able to cure people of incurable diseases, like cancer, or be able to heal people in wheelchairs and things like that. Now that would be a great superpower!

16. Dogs or cats?

Dogs! I like cats too, but I have a preference for dogs. Here are a few photos I recently took of my adorable yellow lab, Brees.

Isn’t she the cutest? (If you’re wondering, she’s usually not that attentive. I was holding her bone above the camera.)

17. Favorite color?

Pink!💕

18. Do you like fireworks?

Yes, of course! Although I only see them once a year, on the fourth of July.

19. What’s your favorite movie?

THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MY FAVORITE MOVIE!

Can you tell? 😉

20. Google or Bing? (2x)

GOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGLEGOOGL

21. If you had to be a kitchen utensil, what would you be?

Well, this wins the award for the most creative question. XD I’d have to say I’m like a spatula, but I really have no particular reason for thinking this. Maybe because I just like spatulas- they’re fun to use.

22. Nachos or tacos?

Tacos. Tacostacostacos. 😉

23. If you could live in the past, what era would you choose?

Probably the 1940s-1970s, though I’m not entirely sure why. I love the fashions, and just what seems to be a carefree way of living.

24. What are you wearing right now?

I’m wearing my weekend Olivia uniform! That translates to black Nike shorts, a Comfort Colors t-shirt and a ponytail. Plus fuzzy socks, because my house is always freezing.

25. Android or Apple?

Apple! I don’t have anything against Android though, it’s just my family has always owned Apple devices.

26. Baseball or football?

My family is really into football. I like watching it on TV, but I think baseball games are more fun to go to in real life. (Fun fact: my dog, Brees, is named after a football player.)

27. What is your hidden talent?

If I told you, it wouldn’t be hidden anymore, would it? 😉 Just kidding. I don’t really think I have one?? So I’ll just tell you something you didn’t know before. I can do the alphabet in three different languages- English, ASL, and Spanish.

28. What’s an instrument you’d like to learn?

I’d love to learn the piano! Sadly, I decided that after we sold our piano. 😦

This Fantasia video is the best.

29. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

oOoOH. Can I say a cross-country trip of the globe. Seriously, though, I’d have to say New York City. I know I should pick something exotic, or at least out of the country I live in, but I just want to go to New York City so badly.

30. Who’s your role model?

Probably my older sister? I fight with her all the time, but I really look up to her. She’s always been there for me and paved the way for me to follow in her footsteps.

31. How was your first week of school?

It was pretty good! (If you’re confused, my Q&A announcement post went live back in August when I was starting school.) I didn’t get lost, which I thought I would, and my teachers seem nice. I am drowning in schoolwork, though. Thanks for asking!

32. Who is your favorite president?

My favorite president that I wasn’t alive for is John F. Kennedy, my favorite president that I actually remember is Barack Obama. 🙂

  1. YAY I LOVE THE SOUND OF MUSIC! *loudly sings the opening song* *everyone winces*
You gave the correct answer to the Google vs. Bing question. *applauds* XD You did not, however, give the correct answers to the Apple vs. Android or baseball vs. football questions. *sad sigh* 😛 😛
YOUR DOG IS SO CUTE! Spiderman is my favorite superhero, too. And YES I wanna go to NYC so bad! Take me with you if you go! 😉
I loved reading all your answers! 😀

  2. Omg, your dog is SO CUTE!!! I want one! Seriously, though, I grew up with a yellow lab and totally want to get my own lab when I have time/space for one. Your whole post is so fun (I love The Sound of Music too!!) and I loved reading all of the questions and answers, but I’m afraid Brees totally stole the show for me.

    • BREES SAYS THANK YOU!😉Seriously though, she is very flattered, haha. Yellow labs (or labs in general) are the best! I hope you get to get another one someday.
I’m really glad you enjoyed this post! And ahhh another Sound of Music fan- a bunch of people have commented that they’re one too, and it makes me so happy.❤️Thanks for reading, Dani!

  3. Brees is so cute! I have a poodle named Coffee, and he never looks at the camera when I take a picture of him hahahaha! And duh Google is obviously better than Bing. I DNFed the Maze Runner because I didn’t really like it and I got bored reading it I guess? Also I’m a huge swiftie too! I’m new to your blog and it seems like we have a lot in common, hope I can get to know you better 🙂

    • Aww, thanks! Coffee sounds so adorable. 😉 My method for getting Brees to look was holding a treat or her bone right above it, haha. YES to Google, and to DNFing the Maze Runner, though I might go back to it someday? AND OMG A SWIFTIE!💕I love all of Taylor Swift’s songs, and right now I’m completely obsessed with Look What You Made Me Do. I’m really glad you found your way over here- thanks for the sweet comment, Chloe! I can’t wait to go check out your site.
