November Wrap-Up + It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year…

Well. November just flew right by me.

Though it was gone before I could blink, November was a month to remember. I had a lot of wonderful things happen book wise, blogging wise, and in real life. 🙂

In this post, I’ll be sharing how my November went, as well as talking a little bit about the upcoming month of December. I’m so excited for December, I can hardly contain myself. Ahhh!

books

Throwing all the confetti, because I think my reading slump is finally over!

After last month, when I didn’t even read one book, I managed to read 4 books in November. Not the best, but also pretty exciting for me. I was starting to worry I’d be in a reading slump for the rest of my life.

I was able to knock a few books off of my TBR, and absolutely adored some of the books I read- especially Starfish and Windfall. Possible reviews coming eventually?

Hey, and I got some cute pictures of books. 😉

I just looked at my reading goals I set for November, and I didn’t do so well on achieving them. I’m still happy with how this month turned out, though.

  • Read 5 books
  • Finish all 3 I’m currently reading  (I DNF’d one of them)
  • Choose reading over Netflix more ✅
  • Look into ARCs

Here are my goals for December:

  • Read 7 books (I’ll be on break for a long time, so I’ll have a lot of free time)
  • Review Starfish or Windfall
  • Look into ARCs

blog

November was a successful blogging month! I’ll share the posts I did, posts I loved by other bloggers, and then discuss goals. 🙂

Posts I Did This November:

Posts I Enjoyed By Other Bloggers:

Of course, I enjoyed many other posts, but these were just a few highlights I remembered from over the month. If you read any great posts, leave the link in the comments!

Looking back at my blogging goals for November, I didn’t do that bad.

  • Reach 100 followers. ✅
  • Stick to blogging schedule ✅
  • Do a tag ✅
  • Do a discussion-y post ❌

December Blogging Goals:

  • Reach 140 followers
  • Winter themed posts!

I’m not going to set any more goals, but I am going to tell you that I have some things planned for this month that I am so excited for! It’s gonna be a great month. 😉

life

November was just a great month for me! It’s hard to imagine December topping it, but since Christmas is involved, I think it has a good chance.

What Made My Month So Wonderful:

  • I had my fall show for dance, which was so fun! It was great to see all our hard work over these past few months pay off.
  • Taylor Swift’s new album came out
  • I had a week off from school for Thanksgiving break!
  • I got to go to my grandmother’s house.
  • The weather has been pretty fall-y. And hopefully it’ll get winter-y soon.
  • CHRISTMAS IS COMMMINGGG

I hope you enjoyed this month’s wrap-up post! As always, I enjoy writing these. I can’t wait for all that is to come in December!

  4. November happened so quickly! Way too fast. I haven’t been able to read any Lara Jean books, but I do want to!
I have 4 more books to finish up my Goodreads challenge!!! Yeah! I’m so excited to finish that up in December. And I’m also trying to have 100 blog followers by the end of the year – almost there and kind of excited about that.
Good luck with your goals! Books over Netflix, hehe 🙂

  6. Congratulations on reaching 100 followers! My November was very busy with NaNoWriMo and dance. I had my concert recently. It went really well. I think you should do a review on Starfish. Also, I love your photos. They look kind of Christmassy with the lights.
