“Books are a uniquely portable magic.”
Stephen King said that, and I agree. That’s why I love to review books here on Purely Olivia! Here are just a few of my policies.
Will I Review It?
What I Will Review: Middle Grade fiction, Young Adult fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, fairytales, & Christian fiction.
What I Won’t Review: adult books, nonfiction, books with a lot of unclean content and language.
My Reviewing System
Well, that was a waste of time. It’s likely I’ll never give a book one star. If I did, that means I DNF’d it. That could be for multiple reasons: unclean content, bad plotline, or I just plain didn’t like it.
I wish I hadn’t read this book. A 2 star rating means that the book was slightly better than bad, but I most likely didn’t finish it. I don’t recommend it to others at all.
It was just okay. It was so bad, was it? I liked it, I guess, but I just had a lot of complaints. You might like it, it just wasn’t really my style.
This book is good! I sincerely enjoyed the time this book and I spent together. You should read it, because I bet you’d like it too, and then we could talk about it together. It just wasn’t quite up to five star standards.
This is my new favorite book! I seriously loved reading this book. I got a lot out of it, I connected with the characters, the plot was great, and you should all be adding it to your TBR as you read this. Go! Go read it!
If you ever have questions or comments on my reviews, please do not hesitate to comment! I’d love to chat with you.
How may I contact you for a book review request? I love your blog and I’m a Jesus freak, too! I have a YA fantasy/romance.

If you do any reformatting of your blog, it would be nice to have your reviews all on this page, so the reader doesn’t have to sift through past content to see what you have to say about your book reviews. Just a suggestion. I forgot to put that in the survey.
