Oy With The Reading Already Tag // Gilmore Girls + A Whole Lot of Books!!

Just like reading, Gilmore Girls is a lifestyle.

It was the first show I ever binged watched, the first time I really connected with a character on TV, and, well, I couldn’t be more excited for this tag!

It was created by my wonderful friend Rhi (you should go give her some love 😉 ) and I absolutely love everything about it. I mean, one of my favorite shows? And books? In the same post? (If you haven’t watched Gilmore Girls, don’t worry, there won’t be any spoilers in this post, though I hope I can convince you to watch it! It’s about a bookish girl (!!) and her mom and their life in a little small town.)

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag 2018 // Favorites, Anticipated Reads, + More

I’m officially freaking out because it’s June.

How can it already be June? 2018 doesn’t have my permission to go by this fast. Due to my state of panic at this rapidly passing year, it’s only fitting that I participate in the Mid-Year Book Freak Out tag. 😉

Even though I haven’t read at all much this year, I still wanted to take part in this fun tag. That way I’ll be able to look back at the end of the year and see what I was reading way back in June! Maybe by then I won’t be 9 books behind on my Goodreads challenge.

Library Haul! // ft. contemporaries & tbr pile books

It’s a beautiful day when I go to the library.

So that makes yesterday a beautiful day, because I was able to go to the library and check out free books. 😉 I ended up getting a lot of contemporaries and books that have been on my TBR for a while, so I wanted to share them with you all today!

I don’t go to the library often though I do keep my books until they’re overdue, so when I do, it’s cause for celebration (and a blog post about them).

I may be slightly screaming in this post because I’m just honestly so excited to read all these?? And if you’ve read them, or if you want to read them, please do join in on all the screaming in the comments, I’d love to fangirl with you.

My Summer 2018 TBR // Books I Really, Really Want to Read!!

Summer is so close.

My summer starts in just a few days, and I can’t wait! For no school and lots of ice cream, of course, but mostly for days upon days of reading. Today I’ll be sharing a few books that I definitely want to read this summer.

Although we all know I won’t read all of these?? And we also know that I’ll read other books too, because that’s just the mood reader inside of me. 😉 Still, I’m excited to set a few reading goals for the months ahead.

My favorite month of the year has come and gone.

This October went by way too fast. I can’t believe it’s over, and now we’re in the 11th month of 2017?! I just realized next month is December, picking my jaw up off the floor now.  Today I’ll be sharing a recap of how my month went as far as books, the blog, and just in life. 🙂

We all know that when it comes to books and movies, it’s hit or miss.

There are the greats- Harry Potter, anyone? The Book Thief? In my opinion, those movies really lived up to the books. (Though the books are always better. 😉 ) And then there are the failures. cough*percy jackson*cough.

Classics are classic. Everyone recognizes their name, they’ve been loved for years, and they’ll be loved for years to come. They’re iconic.

I can’t help but wonder, what are the classics of the future? In 2117, what books will still be well-known? I can’t see ahead, or influence what the next generation of classics will be, but I thought it would be interesting to list a few books that I personally believe should be loved for years to come.

Summer can be my favorite and least favorite time of the year all at once. I don’t have school, and I can do fun things with my friends whenever I want, but I also get bored easily and find myself wasting time or being lazy.
